We're a small Mac software company that started in November of 2007. Our mission statement is to provide our users with the latest and greatest technological advancements. Our most popular release, iTimeMachine, allowed users for the first time ever without terminal, to easly backup to an Airdisk with Time Machine. This release was so popular that Lifehacker wrote an article about it. (With the old version, here. http://lifehacker.com/341704/time-machine-over-the-network-with-itimemachine and also in this article http://lifehacker.com/344376/customize-your-mac-with-leopard-power-tweaks ) Those two articles caused hundreds of thousands of hits in January. Our browser, Lightbrowser, is the very first web browser to implement a live search function. CustomDock was the first application to change the leopard dock without terminal. Xiotios Software (pronounced ex-aww-see-us) will continue to bring good stuff to your mac!

Apple releases TimeCapsule

Well, after hearing about the new update to Apple's product line, Xiotios Software thought the worst about iTimeMachine with the release of TimeCapsule. The good news for us is that Apple has still not updated leopard to have the ability to use AirDisks with Time Machine. TimeCapsule has a built in HDD and is also much more expensive than just buying an external drive with an AirPort extreme. So, we have not lost our big product yet! In fact, the release of TimeCapsule may generate more iTimeMachine users, due to the controversy. Also, Xiotios Software would like to announce that once the iPhone SDK comes out, we will be porting Lightbrowser to iPhone. One more piece of software coming soon, so sit tight!

Best Regards,
Xiotios Software

iTimeMachine v1.1 and Another Site Refresh

Well, I've decided to refresh the site once again. As you can see, I've also added a blog. Here I will be posting about upcoming software, and other cool stuff that I may want to share. Also, I have updated iTimeMachine! Based on the feedback from the guys over at LifeHacker, who featured iTimeMachine, I have made some improvements in the usability and GUI. Thanks!

What's New with iTimeMachine:
iTimeMachine 1.1 now checks if you have network drives enabled. It also uses a toggle button instead of the old UI design. It now includes a progress indicator. It also automatically opens up the Time Machine preference pane and tells the user that it has enabled AirDisks.

My thanks go out to everyone who has stuck with us. Xiotios Software is has been working on an upcoming project for a while now. This project will be announced soon. Stay Tuned!
